The Sun Inn - Working for the safety of our customers we are pleased to publish our Clean and Safety CharteWe are dedicated in providing our guests with quality accommodation, excellent food choices and an all round welcomed stay.

This is why and unlike others in this business we are committed to our guests and are working proactively to ensure you safety and well-being when you come to stay with us.

The safety and well-being of our guests, their families and our employees is incredibly important to us right now, in fact now more than ever! As we all prepare to travel again and look forward to you staying with us with a big welcome waiting, it is important that we review our expectations around safety and cleanliness in response to the Coronavirus.

In the coming weeks, we will be asking all of our special guests to sign up to our ‘Clean and Safe’ charter and asking guests to continue following the government guidelines.

Our Clean and Safety Charter means that in all spaces with high touch levels and all hard surfaces will be cleaned at least twice and disinfected and all linen will be washed at 60 degrees before our guest’s arrivals. Check in times maybe delayed to allow for the increased time for extra cleaning in between stays, this of course is to be expected whilst we are following government advice for non-healthcare environments and keeping and monitoring government guidelines at all times.

All group spaces and shared facilities will be set up so that guests can socially distance easily, we will encourage the use of online payments and debit/credit cards to facilitate payments that you need to make to us.

We will put into place measures to allow guests to practice good hygiene throughout their stay, we will supply and have ample stock of any necessary disinfectant, cleaning materials, hand sanitisers and soap. Where possible, other measures to reduce risk will be taken. As an example of this, guest information booklets will be removed as well as menus, providing information digitally instead. You will of course also be able to see this information around our restaurant for those who cannot access information digitally.
